Lutetia takes the Stage
The first pictures of the flyby of the asteroid Lutetia by the European space sonde ROSETTA were successfully performed by the camera OSIRIS on this July 10th, 2010 while the spacecraft was at a barely 3000 km distance.

The picture was taken only one hour before the close approach, at a distance of 80000 km with a resolution of 2km per pixel.
