Space astrometry:
o Hipparcos & Tycho
Link of the dynamical reference frame (Hestroffer, 1994 Ph.D., supervisor Bruno Morando†).
Data reduction for the solar system objects. Construction of the Catalogue for the solar system data (solar_ha.dat, solar_hp.dat & solar_t.dat are available at CDS Solar system annexe ). The full catalogue and explanation books are available at ESA.
Data analysis for the Hipparcos and Tycho data. Photometry with a periodic grid of asteroids and natural satellites. Limb darkening of asteroids from modulated photometry and from astrometry. Orbit improvements of asteroids. Photocentre offset vs centre of gravity. Dynamical reference frame link. Orbit of Jupiter through the astrometry of its satellites. Analysis of the Hipparcos 'lightcurves' of asteroids.
o GAIA
Mission preparation. Scientific expertise. Simulation of the focal plane observations for solar system objects. Orbit improvement of asteroids. Determination of solar quadrupole J2 and relativistic PPN parameter β. Asteroids masses (Cf. S. Mouret).
Core member of the Solar System Working Group (GAIA-SSWG) and the Relativity and Reference Frame Working Group (RRFWG).

High Angular Resolution:
o Hubble Space Telescope (HST)
Observation of asteroid with FGS interferometer. Determination of asteroids sizes and shapes. Link with the physical ephemerides and topographic models of asteroids surfaces.
o Ground-based Adaptive Optics
Analysis of high resolution ground-based AO observations (VLT, Keck, TNG). Link with the physical ephemerides and determination of the spin pole ambiguity.
o Ground-based Interferometry
Analysis of stellar diameter and stellar limb-darkening determination with an intensity interferometer.

Dynamics & Ephemerides:
o Dynamics
Rotation of relaxed asteroids and tumbling asteroids. Orbit determination of asteroids. Radial velocity of asteroids.
o Binary asteroids
Orbit determination of binary asteroids and visual binaries. Mass, density, porosity, internal structure and packing of asteroids. Figures of equilibrium among asteroids and binary asteroids in particular.
o Ephemerides
Physical ephemerides of asteroids (Cf. J. Berthier). Prediction of the apparent shape and size, prediction of lightcurves extremum. Link to topographic modeling.
